Hi! My name is Mariana Suarez and it is a pleasure to serve as your Press Corps Director. I am very excited about partaking in AltMUN 2021. Last year, I finished my second year of the IB program. I was also Secretary General of AltMUN 2020. While representing a news outlet in an MUN is very thrilling, other pass times of mine include reading, watching The Office, and bullet journaling.
Additionally, I am very passionate about international affairs, I love investigating about foreign interventions, international humanitarian law, conflict resolution, etc., which is why I will be studying International Relations. My main goal during this conference is to provide a safe and fun environment for my delegates.
