Hey! I am Alessia Lara, your director for the DISEC Committee in this edition of AltMUN! I can’t wait to get to meet you all and seeing you debate during the conference.
Other than MUN, which I’ve been doing for the past 5 years, I love math and physics which is why I will be studying Mechanical Engineering. When you get to know me, you will know that you can find me in the afternoons playing videogames while streaming on Twitch or reading a book. Dear delegates, welcome to DISEC! My name is Valerie Delgado and I have the pleasure to be Co-Director of the committee alongside Alessia. To tell you a bit about myself, I’m currently applying to some universities where I plan to study politics and philosophy, as these are subjects that I’ve always found interesting.
Besides these passions, I also like abstract art, jazz music, and reading, so if you’re into any of these, feel free to message me! One small fun fact, this will be the third time I participate in Altair Model UN as Committee Director, which makes me really excited about the conference. Best regards, and see you on the committee!
